The exciting new pick-up from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles
The name Amarok comes from the Inuit language and means Wolf. Living in rugged natural
landscapes, the wolf is the king of the wild: strong, powerful and perfectly suited to its environment
– exactly like the Amarok, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ first 1-tonne pick-up.
Although it has its roots in the wild, the Amarok is just as comfortable in the city – its incredible
pulling power matched by class-leading fuel economy.
Amarok will be available in three drive configurations, ready to take you anywhere:
- Selectable 4MOTION all-wheel drive
- Permanent 4MOTION all-wheel drive
- Rear-wheel drive (single cab only)
With a choice of suspension settings:
- Heavy-duty leaf springs (on selectable 4MOTION all-wheel drive)
- Comfort leaf springs (on permanent 4MOTION all-wheel drive)
